3 easy ways to teach dog skills

Dog jump
To teach your dog simpler skills, you need some small rewards. Train in a quiet place for 7 to 20 minutes, otherwise, your dog will start to get bored. Remember, when he does the right thing, he has to give a lot of praise and rewards. Please be careful not to excite him or he will lose his concentration.

Give me your paw
Let your dog give you your paws, you first have to let your dog sit. Then, when you say the word “paw”, hold the dog paw in your hand. Give the dog a bit, repeat it once, and do n’t grab his paws too quickly after a few times. Say a word, just count. You should notice that he is raising his paw when he says the word. If he does not do so, please go back and say it at the same time. Do this a few more times, and then slow down your response. After 2 or 3 treatment sessions, most dogs picked up one very happily.

High-five
Like many techniques, the high five is the development of the previous technique, in this case, the paw technique. Hold the snack with your fingers, and then raise your hand so that it is higher than the paw. Your dog will think you want to do paw tricks and will treat it with paws as we taught him before. When he stands up, you say “high five” and treat him. Once your dog has mastered the paw technique, this should be easy to learn. In just a few lessons, he will do it through gestures instead of voice control.

Jump a circle
Letting your dog skip the hoop is another easy trick. Don’t hold the iron ring too high, otherwise, your dog will not hurt itself when cheating. Place your dog on the side of the hula hoop. Put the dog’s attention on the other side of the hoop. Hold it with your hand and then order the dog to relax from sitting down. Letting your dog skip the hoop is another easy trick.
